In Soh Obituary
Dr. In Young Soh, 73, a resident of Dothan, AL passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021 with his family at his bedside.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at First Presbyterian Church of Dothan, AL with Reverend Rob Oates officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 am on Saturday at the Church.
Dr. Soh will be inurned in Iksan, South Korea. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of In Young Soh, http://giftfunds.stjude.org/inyoungsoh.
In Young Soh was born on May 31, 1948 in Hamyol, South Korea to Dr. Chin-Thack Soh and Mrs. Moon-Ae Noh. He was married on April 12, 1975 to Dr. A Mi Soh at Ruth Chapel, Yonsei University. Dr. Soh received his medical degree from Severance Union Medical College, Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea, and a Master of Science in International Relations from Troy University. He had practiced as a rheumatologist in Dothan, AL since 2003. He enjoyed singing, gardening, golf, travel, and music in his leisure. Dr. Soh was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Dothan as well as a member of the Korean Presbyterian Church of Metro Detroit, where he served as an Elder.
He is survived by his wife, A Mi Soh; daughter and son-in-law, Cara Soh and Alexander Briseno; son and daughter-in-law, Peter Soh and Safina Hafeez Soh; grandchildren, Isobel and Ethan Briseno; mother, Moon-Ae Noh; sisters, Dong Sook Lee, Seong Sook Chung, Young Oak Chun, and Misun Kim; and brother, Eui Young Soh.
