Kimberly Lynn Holmes Gulledge Kimberly Lynn Holmes Gulledge of Midland City, Alabama passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2010. She was 45. Graveside services will be 10:00 am Friday, August 13, at Leddon Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, August 12, from 6 until 8 pm. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the House of Ruth P.O. Box 968, Dothan, AL 36302. Kim was born June 16, 1965, in Geneva County, Alabama to Otho Holmes and the late Wauree Gray Holmes. In 2007, she graduated from Wallace College School of Nursing where she received the highest honor ever received from the nursing program. She was very devoted to her nursing profession and it was shown by her tender, loving devotion to children. She was a very loving, devoted, daughter, sister and mother, as well as a devoted homemaker. Survivors include the love of her life, David Gulledge, Taylor, AL; one son, Trey Gulledge, Dothan, AL; one daughter, Beth Gulledge Lawson & husband Steven, New Brockton, AL; two granddaughters: Hayden Gray and Jada Lynn Lawson, both of New Brockton, AL; father, Otho Holmes, Enterprise, AL; three sisters: Phyllis Helms & husband Bob Speed, Debbie Lee and husband Robert, all of Dothan, AL, Cheryl Norris, Midland City, AL; one brother, Michael Ferguson and wife Dana, Hartselle, AL; nieces and nephews, Mikayla Lynne and Anna Elizabeth Ferguson, Bryan Norris and wife Mandy; great niece and nephew, Hunter and Maddie; other extended family and friends.
