Mr. David Tate

Mr. David Tate, age 76, of Westville, Florida passed away April 11, 2025, at Doctors Memorial Hospital in Bonifay, Florida. He was born May 22, 1948, in Geneva, Alabama to the late Charlie David Tate and Barbara Mae Averett Tate. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Smith Tate and six siblings, Calvin Tate, Bobby Tate, Shirley Jenkins, Bo Tate, Agnes Edwards, and Carolyn Holder.

Mr. Tate is survived by three children, John Tate and wife Anissa, Melissa Domingue and husband Elvin, and Mark Fuller; a special niece, Barbra Bennett and husband Josh; his significant other, Sue Pensyl; eight grandchildren, Ayden and Amy, Jaxson, Hunter and Jordan, Skyla and Colyn, Tyler, Christian, Conner, and Caroline; three great-grandchildren, Hagan, Layson, and Aria; three siblings, Charlie Tate and wife Bernice, Ann Murphy and husband Donny, and Christine Bryant; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Reedy Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home and Bonifay Crematory in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 PM at Calvary Baptist Church.
