LORENE WATERS Obituary

Lorene Waters Lorene Waters of Enterprise, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, November 23, 2009. She was 100. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at Meadowlawn Cemetery with Rev. Jim Hill officiating. Mrs. Waters was born August 3, 1909 to Walter L. & Nancy Hornsby Hundley of the Salem community in Coffee County. Mrs. Waters was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Rev. Walter Hinton Waters. She lovingly assisted him in his ministry as a pastor. The Waters retired to Enterprise in 1976. She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, Shelly, Cliff, Audrey, B.C., Eugene, & Robert Hundley and one sister, Mary Brooks. She is survived by her children, Byron Milton Waters (Kathleene) of Ozark, Billye Jane Morgan of Enterprise; six grandchildren, Deborah Morgan Lane of Tuscaloosa, Susan Morgan Byrd of Ft. Lauderdale, Rodgers Morgan (Nancy) of Dayton, OH, Dianne Morgan Sims (Winkler) of Montgomery, Rhonda Waters of Ozark, Sandra Waters Blair (Joe) of Chuluota, FL; 10 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grand-children; one brother, Vernie Hundley, Chipley, FL; many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to caregivers, Ola Flewell-en, Latoya, Erica, Courtney Scott and Pat Atwell.
