One of Nancy´s gifts was the gift of encouragement. My three children received little notes from Nancy when they had excelled in something or had been recognized for some activity. Those notes communicated love, encouragement, and acceptance. They are stronger adults today because Nancy made small deposits in their emotional development that gave them courage and confidence. Thank you Nancy. We all need Nancy´s in our lives. She was reflecting the character of Christ.

Ms. Nancy was a wonderful and caring part of the Dothan community but she was also a great friend. I worked with Ms. Nancy at the Wiregrass Spay Neuter Alliance where she acted as a friend and mother to us all. She never failed to bring a smile to my face or comfort me in times of sorrow. She was fiercely protective of the people she loved and supported me on many occasions. I loved her stories and I loved her spirit. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Nancy´s cats Sage and Tanzy were 2 of my first patients when I moved to Dothan in 1990. She loved her kitties as much as she loved life. She always had a kind word, left a kind note or a sweet email just because. I enjoyed hearing stories of her travels and she lived by her own rules and I admired her for that.

Sorry to hear this. Always loved Nancy's uplifting attitude about life. I have heard her speak at different functions and she was wonderful. I am sure she will be missed. Prayers for her family.
