James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel 4278 Lafayette Street Marianna, Fl 32446 850.482.2332 Nola Chitty Kelly Nola Chitty Kelly, 89, passed away Saturday July 12, 2014 in the Jackson County Hospital, in Marianna, FL. She was born in Westville, Holmes County, Florida, and had last lived in Tallahassee, FL until moving to the Marianna Health & Rehabilitation Facility where she last resided. She worked for Kelly Brothers Sheet Metal, Inc. for 19 years until her retirement around 1997. She was a very loving, and dedicated wife, mother, friend and Christian. She loved children and was a wonderful, caring "Mamaw" to all her grandchildren. She had a great love for the Bible and Jesus Christ and is no doubt happy to be finally reunited with her Mother, Father and all her many siblings in Heaven. She was preceded in death by her husband Hurtis R. Kelly born in Washington County, FL, who last lived in Tallahassee, and who also has last resided at the Marianna Health & Rehabilitation Facility with her. She was also preceded in death by her siblings Cumi E Chitty Marlow, Henry 'Elmer' Chitty, Jennie Lee B. Chitty Marlow, Clifton Chitty, and Nora Chitty Whitehead as well as many others not listed here but loved. Her survivors include her sons, Hurtis (Bill) B. Kelly (wife Kathryn) of Tallahassee, and Ronald (Bob) R. Kelly (wife Leonisa) of Chattahoochee, by their adopted child, Jeffery Lucas (wife Angela) of Jacksonville, and five grandchildren Hurtis Billy Kelly Jr., Ronald (Bobby) R. Kelly Jr, and Leah Kelly Lee of Tallahassee, Amy Kelly Dice of Monticello, and Kenlock R Kelly of Chattahoochee. She was also survived by six great grandchildren, Kyle Shank, Cody Kelly, Dillon Riley, Nolan Kelly, Landon Kelly, and Thomas Lee. A viewing will be held at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel in Marianna, FL on September 5, 2014 at 12pm to 1:00pm Central Standard Time. Services will follow immediately after the viewing. The burial will be taking place at the Kelly family cemetery, 1 ½ miles south, off of I 10 at exit 166, Chattahoochee, FL.; James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
