Norma Deal Obituary

Norma Doris Deal Mrs. Norma Doris Deal, 87, formerly of Ashford, AL died October 22, 2010 at the Seminole Manor and Nursing Home, Donalson-ville, GA after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Enon Church of Christ. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service from 1-2 p.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Flowers will be accepted. Mrs. Deal was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Crawford Helms and her mother, Trudie Dickens Helms; one son, William Durand Deal; her husband of 64 years, Doran Deal; one brother Tal-madge Helms; two sisters, Lillian H. Thornton and Annie H. Parker; sisters-in-law, Sara M. Helms, Willie R. Helms, and Ethel Deal Adams; brother-in-law, Dorman Deal. Mrs. Deal is survived by her sister, Nell Aqular and husband Carlos of Jakin, Ga; one brother, Alfred Helms of Dalton, GA; sisters-in-law, Mellie Hicks of Columbia, AL, Thelma Redmond and her husband Turner of Dothan; brother-in-law, John Adams, Dothan; sister-in-law Betty Deal, Dothan; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Asked to serve as pallbearers are Frank Matson, Rob Taylor, Lewis Rusgrove, Edward Parker, Jerry Coble, and Ron Deal.
