Odis Powell Obituary
August 18, 1931 - November 10, 2016 Mr. Odis Powell, 85, of Opelika, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at East Alabama Medical Center. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Garden Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m., Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home. Mr. Powell was a resident of Lee County for the past 21 years. He was employed for Mead Coated Corporation Board with 38 years of service. Mr. Powell was a Veteran of the United States Army and a member of the VFW Post #5850. Mr. Powell is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Juenell B. Powell, of Opelika, Alabama; daughter, Sandra Powell Ward (Harry) of Auburn, Alabama; granddaughter, Hillary Leigh Ward of Auburn, Alabama.
