Raymond Purvis Obituary

Raymond LaDon "Don" Purvis, a resident of Dothan, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Nov. 24, 2006, at Shand's Hospital in Gainesville, Fla., while doing what he loved the most: riding his motorcycle after spending time with his family and friends during the Thanksgiving holiday. He was 51.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, at Byrd Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Dean Allerheiligen and Coley M. Holloway officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery.
