Melissa and Family,
My heart aches for your loss. Scott was a wonderful friend, full of laughter and always had a way of bringing a smile to your face. We were like family, as we were classmates at Worth Academy since 2nd grade. Words can not express the sadness I feel for your loss. My prayers are with you all!

I am shocked and saddened by the news of Scott's death. I was a fraternity brother of his at GSW. May the good Lord wrap his arms around all of you during this most difficult time.

Mrs. Downing and family, I am so sorry and heartbroken to hear of Scott's passing. We were fraternity brothers at GSW in the 80's and I have so many good memories of Scott. Melissa and family,
Scott and I were roommates and fraternity brothers at GSW. We did not see each often but spoke several times a year by phone, the last time only a couple of weeks ago. I have no doubt that he would have traveled to the ends of the earth if I needed him. He was a true friend and will certainly be missed by many. Only God's love can comfort at a time like this. Please know that you and the family will be in our prayers. God bless.

Our prayers are with you from Texas. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Mr. Downing was in a lot of pain and now he can sleep in peace with the hope of the resurrection. No more worries, financial obligations, or stress will plaque his life again. There is more to this evil world and I am sure Mr. Downing was fully aware of Jesus' promises.I will continue to pray for the family and pray for God to bring peace to the lives of all of you left to endure such pain.
