Tami Tallas Burrows Mrs. Tami Tallas Burrows of Valley, AL, died Nov. 28, 2010 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika. She was 46. A memorial service was held at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley at 4 p.m. on Tues., Nov. 30 with Rev. Steve York officiating. The family received friends Tuesday afternoon from 2-4 p.m. at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory. Mrs. Burrows was born Aug. 29, 1964 in Weather-ford, TX. She was a hospice nurse. She loved American Legion and her dog Kibbles. She enjoyed gardening and preparing scrapbooks. She is survived by her husband, William Burrows, Valley; daughter, Amy Wells, Dothan; sons, Matthew Ray, Valley, Brent Ray, Valley; parents, John Cecil Tallas, Sr. and Kathie Tallas, Enterprise, AL; bro-thers, Steve Tallas, Atlanta, Johnny Tallas, Atlanta; paternal grandmother, Jo Tal-las, Weatherford, TX; maternal grandmother, Mary Blankenship, Weatherford, TX; also many loving friends.
