William Baxter Obituary
Mr. William E. Baxter, age 89 of Clio passed away Thursday, November 26, 2015 in the Ozark Health and Rehabilitation. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Pea River Presbyterian Church in Clio. Rev. Randy Adams will officiate. Burial will follow in the Pea River Presbyterian church cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home of Clio directing. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to services. He is survived by Son, Jeffery Baxter of Louisville; Daughter, Judy (David) Settle of Fayetteville, Georgia; Sister in law, Lorene Baxter of Bremen, GA; Grandchildren, Jerremy Baxter and Adrienne Baxter (Timothy) Spiller. He is preceded in death by his wife, Elise Sanders Baxter. Mr. William E. Baxter retired from the Army National Guard as a Sergeant Major and he served as the Clio City Clerk for many years.
