Zachary Spears, 16, a resident of Dothan, AL died of injuries sustained in an automobile accident Sunday, November 20, 2016. Memorial services will be held 1 pm Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Robbie Daniels officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 11 am until 1 pm. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wicksburg High School Class of 2019 Zachary Spears Scholarship Fund at https://www.gofundme.com/zach-spears-memorial-scholarship?ssid=814670736&pos=1. Zach was born on September 19, 2000 in Birmingham, AL and lived most of his life in Wicksburg, AL. He attended Wicksburg High School, South Walton High School, and most recently Northview High School, where he loved to play football, baseball, and basketball. He is proceeded in death by his grandparents, Carol Keahey and Jacky Wayne Spears. Survivors include his father, David Spears (Anne Hughes), Dothan, AL; his mother Julie Spears (Ken Stephens), Santa Rosa Beach, FL; his brother, Taylor Wayne Spears; his grandparents, Barbara Spears, Dothan, AL, Bob Keahey, Pelham, AL, Rick and Judy Spears, Dothan, AL; his aunts and uncles, Chip (April) Keahey, Pelham, AL, Ryan (Heather) Keahey, Pelham, AL, Lisa Stephens, Dothan, AL, and Pam Cook, Hartford, AL; his cousins, Coley Stephens, Sam Stephens, Chase Thomas, Chad Edwards, Abbey and Ashley Cook, Toby Keahey, Anna Grace Keahey, and Matthew and Katie Keahey. www.SunsetMemorialPark.com
