Joshua Hoyt Obituary

Joshua Kent Hoyt

St. George - Joshua Kent Hoyt passed away on April 22, 2021 in St. George, UT. He was born to Joseph Hoyt and Terilyn Canning on November 28, 1981.

Josh loved to camp and fish. One of his favorite spots was at Mile Marker 4 in Cedar Canyon, by the waterfall. Josh loved a wide variety of music and always had something blasting, but his all-time favorite was Kid Rock. He had a very generous personality and was always willing to help others. Josh always knew the right thing to say, could always make you laugh, and gave the best hugs.

Josh is survived by his father Joe (Jo) Enoch, UT, sons Joey Nielson Dove Creek, CO and A.J. Bucher Cortez, CO, sisters Jodilyn Robertson (Dan) Portland, OR, Shasta Laird (Trevor) Alamo, NV, brother Travis Canning (Randi) Alamo, NV, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Josh was preceded in death by his mother Terilyn, brother Jeremy Utter, and sister Krissa Hoyt.

An informal memorial gathering will be held on May 1st at 1:00 p.m. at his father's home at 4289 N. Maple Lane in Enoch. You are encouraged to come share your memories of Josh and celebrate his life with us.

In lieu of flowers, donations to help his family cover funeral expenses may be made on his GoFundMe account at www.gofundme.com/josh-hoyt-funeral-expenses. Anything and everything will be much appreciated by his family.
