Elizabeth Price Obituary

Betty Price of Duncan, Arizona, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior, reuniting with her beloved husband of 65 years, Floyd. She was born December 18, 1935, in Duncan to Raymond and Sue Davis and was raised on the family homestead.
Betty developed a lifelong love of cooking and homemaking through 4-H, earning recognition at county, state, and national levels. After high school, she married Floyd Price and together they built a life centered on faith, family, farming, and service to their community.
She worked as a home economics teacher at Duncan High School, earned her degree from Western New Mexico University, and later served 17 years as a social worker for the Arizona Department of Economic Security, where she compassionately supported countless families.
Even in retirement, Betty remained devoted to caring for others - helping on the farm, serving her church, and welcoming everyone to her table. She was known for her warm hospitality, full pantry, and love of cooking, canning, baking, and reading.
She is survived by her children Peggy Boswell, Terri Dodge, and Buddy Price; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, generous heart, and lifelong service to others. Her service will be Friday, January 30th at The Duncan United Methodist Church 1 p.m.-2 p.m.
