Alex you were one of my closest friends. You were always there for me when I needed help and rescued me from harm countless times. You listened to me cry for days at a time over a breakup and most of all you could always get me to laugh. You always told me I was amazing and beautiful even when I didn't want to hear it. I can't imagine what life will be like without you in it anymore. I saw you only a few days before you died and I wish I could've spent more time with you that day because my life will never be the same again without you. I'm going to miss you terribly. All of us will miss you terribly. You were such a good person and full of life I just can't believe you're gone. Friends like you only come around maybe once in a lifetime if you're lucky and I was lucky enough to have you in my life and to be able to call you my friend. You were such a character and I love you so much. You will NEVER be forgotten and every time I look at the picture of The King I will feel the empty space that's in my heart now that you're gone. Thank you for everything and Rest In Peace.

Alex was our Nextdoor neighbor for several years in Niles. We continued to see him fairly often for a few years after he moved, but lost contact a few years ago. Alex was a generous, kind human being with a big smile and gregarious personality, constantly surrounded by his many friends. Our condolences to his family. He is missed.
