Carol Wolfe Obituary

Carol Mansonen Wolfe
Dec 11, 1946 - Feb 27, 2017
A Resident of Clayton
Carol Mansonen Wolfe passed away on Monday, February 27, 2017 at John Muir Medical Center in Concord. She was born on December 11, 1946 in Oakland, CA to Sulo and Florence Mansonen. She was a 1963 graduate of Miramonte High School in Orinda and furthered her education in dental assisting at Diablo Valley College. She married Delmar Wolfe on August 16, 1972 in Reno, NV. After spending 25 years as a dental assistant, Carol worked for 16 years as a purchasing agent with Friedman's Appliance where she was always displaying her wonderful knack for solving problems.
Carol truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; cruising to many exciting ports around the world as well as logging many, many years working with The Make-A-Wish Foundation. Carol had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way.
She is survived by her husband Del; a brother, Robert Mansonen and his wife Beverly; her niece Jamee Mansonen Neumann and her husband Jeffrey, as well as their two boys, Braden (14) and Blair (8).
Family, friends and others whose lives Carol touched are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel, 4125 Clayton Road, Concord, CA 94521. Please come to reminisce, grieve, support each other and of course, just chat. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Cancer Society or to The Make-a-Wish Foundation, 55 Hawthorne Street, Suite 800, San Francisco, CA 94105 in Carol's honor would be greatly appreciated.
