Charles Hughley Obituary

Charles E. Hughley Resident of Livermore Charles "Chuck" was born in Warren, Ohio on July 17, 1956 to Nita Hughley and died on April 3, 2009. Chuck graduated from Washington High School in Fremont in 1975, and served 3 years in the U.S. Navy. Chuck enjoyed playing and watching sports, playing chess & tonk, listening to R&B music, and scratching lottery tickets. Chuck met the love of his life, Charlotte Kukahiko in August 1974 and was married on March 19, 1977. To cherish his memory are his loyal companions, Zues & Baby Boy; sisters, Trudy, Polly & Sandra; brother-in-law, Francis Kukahiko; nieces, Lashawn & Shannon; nephews, JJ, Michael, Ricky & Kalani Kukahiko; foster parents, William & Martha Brooks; and their children, Jerome, Buddy, Michael, Troy, Silas, Bonita & Princess; and many, many friends. A funeral will be held Friday April 10 at 1 p.m. at Graham-Hitch Mortuary, 4167 First St., Pleasanton (925) 846-5624.

Sandra, Trudy, and Polly,
I am so sorry for your loss. Kevin informed me regarding Chuckie's death. May God comfort and keep you through this difficult time. Please let us keep in touch with each other. Joyce and I want to come to LA soon to visit. You all are in our thoughts and prayers.
