Christian was a happy, bright and loving young man with such a bright attitude and future. At family events he always had a smile and offered to help. Whenever I went to an event where this young man was there, he was the light in the room enjoying good times with his cousins, he mom and grandparent/s. He was so close to his cousins they were like siblings. His family loved him so much as he loved his beautiful caring family. I keep his family in my prayers. He is greatly missed. It's always so nice to see the post on the family's FB page of Christian as he will never be forgotten. He was like our family's young cousin and he is greatly missed. Family is not always blood related.
Sincerely,
Mischwa

I Love and Miss You Son... you never wanted me to call you Son but you are the only Son I've had or will ever have so your request is denied - I Love you as if you were my own bc you were mine too - we started our journey together when you were 5 yrs old and although it was a bumpy ride most of the way - I know that we both grew a fondness and appreciation for one another and both learned a lot from one another and I trust in my heart and mind that you found a way to Love Me and that you knew that I had true Love for You... Although I had a different vision of the Future for you and for us... was looking forward to the day you told me you appreciated me being in your life, looked forward to helping to raise your kids and seeing your Family and you being a great older Brother to your Sisters and Brothers and helping me to fend off all the little unwanted knuckle heads that tried to date your Sisters but God has a different plan and you are now in His Hands - so what I promise to you is that your Memory will not fade and that you have given me new purpose and focus bc now some my greatest deeds yet to be accomplished will be a direct result of the Love I carry for You and my determination to make some sense out of something so senseless to me... I've already witnessed the impact that you have had on the lives of so many upon your time around them and through your passing - just letting you know that I too promise that your Life will not be forgotten or in vain... you are still making a difference through me and many others... I Love You Son

Today Tuesday, May 2nd, we will Celebrate the "Birth Day" of our Son Christian Antonio Ewing who would have turned 20 years old today...
It's a day that we would normally be singing "Happy Birthday" to Christian.... both versions of course... But instead we find ourselves in search for the "Happy" part of this "Birthday"... However we will find some comfort in cherishing the memories, the fun times, his silly personality, doing the things he liked to do on this day and of course we Thank everyone for the continued Blessings, Prayers and Birthday Messages on this Day in remembrance of him because We Will Forever Love and Remember Our Son +++CareFreeChris

Christian joined us on a trip to Panama a few years ago. The trip was great except we arrived just as the rainy season was closing. Therefore, many days during our trip included rain showers. Christian and I decided to play some golf during the trip. We were playing our first 18 holes and Christian was playing the first 4 holes very poorly. On the 5th hole he started playing much better, but it also started raining. I said, Christian we should go into the clubhouse and wait for the rain to stop. He said, no we should finish this round of golf now. I agreed to keep playing but it started to rain harder and harder over the next few holes and Christian kept playing better and better. Finally I said, Christian I'm going to the clubhouse. If you want to continue playing, please take your clubs off the golf cart. Christian said, okay Papa we can quit, but you are interfering with my best round of golf ever.
During the first part of this year, I was working on my condo in Henderson, NV. Christian and Dylan had just moved to Henderson and they were very helpful to this old man. They helped me get my condo ready for sale, getting materials to the dump, and Goodwill. Also, I had an 86 year-old friend, Oscar Simms, in Henderson who needed help during basic things; going to the bank, barbershop, and grocery shopping. Christian volunteered to help him with these items.
This showed how well he had been raised and how respectful he was of his elders.

Good morning our sweet Godson, Christian! HAPPY 20th birthday ! I know that you are showing everyone up there the content of your character, which is to be carefree and love and appreciate everything. Our foundest memory of you is when Shey used to drop you off almost every night when she had to go to class or needed a night out of fun. We made sure you were fed (always ended with a dessert), clean and slathered with Johnson's baby lotion until you glistened. Shey used to talk about us because we did this with you until you were 10! Uncle Robert and I will forever cherish these memories, we were happy and honored to impact your early years and watch you grow into a fine young man. We love and and miss you. HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Love Auntie Arika, Uncle Robert, and Harrison.

It's your birthday Buddha! I thank God for this special day. Although I miss you like crazy, I'm thankful He brought you into my life and for the time that we shared together. I wouldn't trade these memories for anything:
1) When you were maybe 5 or 6 years old, I remember the three of us would be listening to a song in the car (You, Mikaela, and I) and you would act like you knew all the words to the song. You would murmur all the words but say the last word of each line. Kaela and I would get so annoyed. We used to tell you "if you don't know all the words, don't sing like you do because you're messing up the song!" And you'd respond "I do know the words." And keep on singing.
2) Every time I'd come over your house, I'd put you in a headlock. It was our little ritual for a few years. I'd keep you locked until you tapped (surrendered), said a particular phrase that I told you to say ("Brea is the best!"), or drooled on me. It would usually end up being the latter. I remember this past winter (Dec '16 or Jan' 17) was the first time you got out of the headlock legitimately. I was shocked because even though you were much taller (6'6 to my 5'9), I still had the muscle. Nevertheless, it was a humbling moment.
3) This past winter, you and I went to the gym for a late night workout. These late trips to the gym were routine for us. I remember I went to lift and you went to go shoot around on the basketball court. After my workout, I went to the court to join you. You were shooting and I was getting your rebounds. It was a memorable experience because all our lives the roles had been switched. Growing up, you had always been my personal rebounder. We would go to the gym, I would shoot and practice certain moves, and you would rebound and pass the ball back to me. Sometimes I would be having you run all over the place. Well, this particular night, you were paying me back for those times and giving me some cardio as well. But it was nice to switch roles. After you were done shooting, I decided to shoot around and you rebounded for me. Just like the good ole days.
What a blessing it was to have you in my life. You were the source of so much love, laughter, and joy. I know that the bond we shared cannot be separated by death. I miss you, I love you, and I look forward to the day we are reunited (so I can put you in another headlock!). Until then, I will hold our memories close to my heart. I could never forget you brother.

Dear Shelley and family. I am so very sorry about the passing of your beautiful son. I just found out and apologize for the delay in offering my condolences. As I scrolled through the great photos of your son with you and his siblings, his cousins and father's, I cry for you and the family. There are few words of comfort. I'll keep it short.
You and your family are in my prayers Shelley.
