Clemens Gesell Obituary

Clemens Gesell Jr. Jan. 25, 1924 - Oct. 17, 2012 Resident of Richmond, CA Clemens was born in Burnstad, ND to Sophie and Clemens Gesell Sr. Clemens passed away on Wednesday, 10/17/12 at the age of 88 at a private care home in Woodland, CA. He retired from the United States Army after 24 years of service to his country and the Richmond Unified School District after 15 years. Clemens loved to spend time tinkering in his shed, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Clemens is survived by his only living sibling Jenny (Bill) Ticson from Vilonia, AR. He is also survived by his son in law Daniel Maciel, Gloria (Richard) Sinclair, Clemens Lee Gesell, William (Rhonda) Gesell, Steven (Deanna) Gesell, Debra (Keith) Solomon, twelve grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Geraldine Gesell, parents Sophie and Clemens Gesell Sr., his brother William, and sister's Sophie, Emmetina, Mary, Margaret, Katherine, Elizabeth, Rosina and his daughter Rita Maciel. There will be a viewing on Thursday, 10/25/12 from 6-8 pm and funeral services will be held on Friday 10/26/12 at 11:00 am both are at Wilson & Kratzer Mortuaries in Richmond at the Civic Center Chapel, 455-24th Street, Richmond, CA 94804 (510) 232-4383.
