Cynthia Diane Waddell, 60, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013, in Danville, California. She was born on May 3, 1952 in Long Beach, California, the first child of Charles and Vaun Del Bonney. A graduate of the University of Southern California (BA) and Santa Clara University (JD), Cynthia was the Executive Director of the International Center for Disability Resources on the Internet, and a world-renowned advocate for the rights of persons with disabilities. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Waddell; by two daughters, Elizabeth Waddell and Christina Thompson; by her granddaughter, Julia Garcia; by her brother, Timothy Bonney; by her sister, Annette Van Vliet; and by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in Cynthia's honor at 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at John Knox Presbyterian Church, 7421 Amarillo Road, Dublin, California. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the John Knox Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.

Tom and fmily,
We just learned of Cynthia's passing and are so saddened to hear of this loss. Although we didn't know her personally, we know how much she meant to you and her friends, and the churches you served. We also know that people over the world were blessed by her advocacy and expertise. We we send our deepest sympathy and pray for God's comfort, strength and healing.
