Edwin Wright Obituary

EDWIN EUGENE WRIGHT BORN: January 8, 1934 DIED: December 12, 2007 Resident of Livermore Edwin enjoyed skiing, golfing, boating, deer hunting and breeding thoroughbred horses. He was a member of the Tahoe Yacht Club, Castlewood Country Club, Pleasanton Men's Club and Modesto Gun Club. He was a member of the "Flying 50" in his younger years. Edwin proudly refinished a 1929 model A Roadster. He retired in 1991 from his business, Wright Air Incorporated of 30 years. He also graduated from USC and served in the Armed Forces from 1956 - 1958. Mr. Wright is survived by his wife: Judith Wright of 51 years; son and daughter-in-law Christopher and Annette Wright; son Frederick Wright, grandchildren: Adam and Amanda Wright, all of Livermore. He is also survived by his sister Nedra Turner of Fresno and his beloved German Shepard. Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Jan. 8, 2008 in honor of his birth date Jan. 8, 1934 at 3 PM at the chapel of Callaghan Mortuary, 3833 East Ave., Livermore. There will be a reception to immediately follow services at the Castlewood Country Club, Pleasanton, CA. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any charity of your choice.
