James Foley Obituary

JAMES W. FOLEY, ESQ. Aged 77, a resident of Redwood City for 23 years, died at home August 14, 2003 after a short illness. He was a Deputy District Attorney for San Mateo County retiring in 1984. Mr. Foley was born in Vicksburg, Mississippi in 1925, moved to Portland, OR in 1948, thence to California in 1958. He received his undergraduate degree from University of Portland, OR and his J.D. from the University of San Francisco. He is survived by his wife, Dolores Jarvis Foley whom he married in 1955 and his loving family, Michael Foley (son), Heather Denney (daughter) and her husband, Charles, Rebecca Foley (daughter) and three grandchildren, Kiri Denney, Jennifer Foley and Joshua Denney. Private interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Menlo Park. The arrangements are in the care of Woodside Chapel of Crippen & Flynn.
