Joan Brennan McNabb

JOAN BRENNAN MCNABB Died peacefully Monday, May 14, 2007, surrounded by her loving family. She raised her family for 23 years in Fremont before moving to Valley Springs in 1997. Joan and husband Lee own Valley Springs Driving Range and Restaurant. She loved fishing, reading, cooking, playing scrabble and every morning she started her day with a crossword puzzle. Her greatest joy of all was sharing her home with family and friends. Everyone was always welcome, "the more the merrier". She is survived by her husband Lee McNabb of Valley Springs, children, Desiree Shahoian and husband Bob of Pleasanton, Carrie Hayes and husband Wayne of Placerville, Joni Koch and husband Shawn of Camino, John Brennan, Jr. of Manteca, Judith Thompson of Salida, Leslie Barrantes and husband Carlos of Pleasanton; Stepchildren, Janice Chacon, Marla Daley, Ricky McNabb, Randy McNabb; brother, Paul Collette of Arizona; grandchildren, Monica, Adam, Ryan, Cherie, Candace, Danielle, Chad, Elisabeth, Julia, Jade and great granddaughter Brooklyn Mae. Joan is also survived by many loving friends who also know her as "mom". Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass, Saturday, May 26, 2007, 11:00 A.M. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 115 Court St., Jackson, CA. Inurnment will be private.
