Kenneth Milton Moore, 79, of Concord, California, passed away on March 14, 2017, peacefully, with his family right beside him.
Kenneth was born in Oakland, California on May 2nd, 1937. He attended Oakland Tech High School and then enlisted in the Army, where he would serve 2 years in Germany.
Kenneth was married to Patricia A. Moore (Ogan) on September 20, 1959; they were married 57 years.
Kenneth is survived by his two children, John L. Moore and his wife Tina, Kenneth J. Moore and his wife Patrice; his 6 grandchildren Jessica, Danielle, Crystal, Holly, John Jr. and Josh; his 2 sisters, Mickey Wyant and Phyllis A. Shattuck, and the rest of his family and friends. Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, William J. Moore and Doris M. Lucas.
Kenneth worked as President of Ken Moore Termite Control and K&P Construction for over 40 years. He enjoyed studying the law, history, NASCAR, traveling, playing and watching sports. He was also actively involved in PCOC (Pest Control Operations of California), where he served one term as President.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Oak Park Christian Center. 2073 Oak Park Blvd, Pleasant Hill, CA 94523. Reverend Sean Fitzhugh of Oak Park Christian Center will be officiating.
