Resident of Fremont
Patricia Marsh passed quietly on Christmas Eve at her home in Fremont, she was 91. Patricia was born to Joseph O'Laughlin & Anna Connor in Pasadena Ca. The youngest of 5 siblings, brothers Jack, Ned, Joe, Tom and her beloved sister, Bernadette. Patricia graduated from St Elizabeth High School in 1944 & attended Sacred Heart College for two years until the death of her mother. She met Victor Marsh in 1947 and married on January 30, 1949.
Married for 50 years, Pat and Vic raised their 4 sons Tom, Brian, Dan and Joe settling in Fremont, Ca. Patricia was happiest near a Catholic Church & was found teaching religion, singing in the choir and helping in the Catholic community. Patricia could also be found on the dance floor with her Victor and later playing golf with friends from 3 different clubs. Patricia traveled widely but cherished her stays in Hawaii with her best friend and husband Victor.
Patricia is survived by her 2 children, Brian Marsh (Nanette), Dan Marsh (Jennifer); 8 grandchildren,Vanessa, Sarah & Shannon Marsh, Christopher, Danielle, Caitlin & Sophia Marsh, & Victoria Marsh; 1 great grandchild Blaze,
Gilbertson; also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, & God-children.
Visitation information for family and friends: Vigil service held at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd. Fremont, from 5:00–8:00 p.m., Friday, January 12th. Funeral mass will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 37588 Fremont Blvd, on Saturday January 13th at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow mass at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 36320 Mission Blvd. Hayward.
