Randy Elmore Obituary

Randy L. Elmore Former Oakley Resident Randy L. Elmore, loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away at the age of 54 in the early morning hours of May 21, 2009. Randy was born to Bert and Velma Elmore (Pang- erich) in Bethany, Oklahoma. Randy spent his childhood in Oklahoma and moved to Fremont, California, in the early '60s. Randy married the love of his life, Shelly A. Treadaway, in Fremont in 1975, and served in the U.S. Air Force during and after Vietnam. After serving in the U.S. Air Force, he worked in the construction industry for 30 years, where he resided in Oakley, eventually moving to Lake Cam- anche. Randy has been a resident of Amador County for 5 years. Randy is survived by his loving wife of 33 years; his mother and stepfather Velma and Tom Pangerich; his sister Cheryl Parkin; his brothers Rick, Faron and Clay Elmore; his son Ryan Elmore; his grandchildren Ashley, Brody, Wyatt and Garrett Elmore. Randy was preceded in death by his father, Bert Elmore, along with his loving daughter, Kimberly Elmore, in 2008. He will be greatly missed by many family members and friends whom he loved. A celebration of Randy's life will be held in his honor on May 29, 2009 at 3 p.m. during a graveside service at the Sunset View Cemetery, 10200 State Highway 88 in Jackson, California. There will be a reception following the graveside service at the Elmore residence located at 4532 Coyote Dr., Lake Camanche, CA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a trust fund set up for his granddaughter Ashley Elm- ore, whom he was raising, Wells Fargo Bank, Jackson CA. Condolences may be offered via e-mail to the family at danerimortuary@sbcglobal .net. Arrangements have been entrusted to Daneri Mortuary in Jackson, (209) 223-0739.
