Richard was my love for nine years. I will always miss him.

I never really had the chance to know my Uncle Rich. I do know that he visited his sister Bertha (Amy) after I was born. I have seen the pictures
. I wish I knew more about his military experience in the Army as I was also in the Army in Germany (FRG) as he was. He offered his help to me at a dark time in my life, And I greatly appreciated it more than a lot of my family could possibly understand. I hardly knew him, but I will miss him. Not because of what he did for me...Not because of what he was willing to do for me...But because he was family and also a Veteran like me. A brotherhood and sisterhood that only a few of us can and are a part of. Francis B Fanning II.
