I just came across Roberts Obituary and I was saddened to hear of his passing. I was a contractor that would go to GCX weekly and Robert was always most helpful. He was amazing at what he did and was truly a great person. I am honored that I was able to work with him.

My deepest condolences to the Bustamante family. Robert was a one in a million!!! He will be truly missed!! I'm thankful that I got to see him that Sunday at the house. He is gone but will never be forgotten <3 Forever in my heart he will be. He was loved by many!!! RIP ROBERT <3

Hi Babe, your family is right you can REST from all the pain & sorrow you kept in your heart.... It was a bitter sweet moment to see you leave with Jesus Christ and his Angels; Also a sense of closure for me and my family to be able to see you laid to rest next to your father and uncle! Its been entirely way too long since you have had a chance to reunite with your Daddy, that makes my heart at ease... I can comfortably share you with the Lord and all who are in heaven with you... right now I am at a loss for words. I have mixed emotions. I feel saddened, sick to my stomache, and heart broke. I never really knew robert, When we were kids we played together and spent time together but that all changed forever when our parents died. Forever separated from then on. Robert you were a very handsome man, you looked like dad, and Daryl and Jesse. Your smile was amazing, it just lit up your whole face, in all the pictures I have seen of you. I know you and Lisa were very close ... and Susie, as well. I am so sorry for their loss. My heart truly breaks for them. For your wife and children, I feel their pain, and I am so sorry.

I only got to meet Robert one time but my mother knew him years ago and said he was one of the sweetest men she had ever known and during our brief visit the night before his passing that certainly seemed to be true.God bless Robert and watch over his family during this very difficult time <3

Robert will be truly missed by my family. He would always drop by when in Hayward just to see how we were doing. He had such a loving and gently spirit and I will truly miss him forever. I watched him grow from a boy to the great man that he became. GOD be with you now and say hello to my mother as she loved you too.
