Funeral services for Phyllis Pedersen, 80, of Sallisaw, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 12, 2025, at Blunt Baptist Church in Sallisaw. Burial will be at Drakestand Cemetery in Sallisaw under the direction of Agent Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mrs. Pedersen was born on Sept. 8, 1944, to Quinton Osburn and Frances Marion (Merrit) Osburn. She passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2025, in Sallisaw.
She was a landlord and of the Baptist faith.
She married David M. Pedersen on June 3, 2005, in Eureka Springs, Ark.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; children, Twila and Greg McGinnis and Laura E. Rogers, all of Sallisaw and Catherine McManus of Kalispell, Mont.; three brothers, Quinton and Barbara Osburn of Sallisaw, and Steve Osburn and Clayton Osburn, both of Alma, Ark.; one sister, Rozanne; several grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Allen Rogers; and daughter, Victoria Hammer.
Viewing will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, 2025, at the Agent Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
