Shirley Shearouse Obituary
The Appling County native was a longtime member of Life Springs Worship Center. Shirley loved her family and spending time with them. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Walker Shearous,e and her great-grandson, Trey Anderson.
Survivors include her husband, Carson Shearouse; children, Eddie Branan (Linda), Cathy Lanigan (Billy), Cheryl Shearouse Brown (Pastor Tim) and Jeremy Shearouse (Erica); seven grandchildren, one of which lives with Shirley and Carson and has for several years, Kasey Branan; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Lamar Griffis (Dot); a sister, Aloise Dowd (Glen); and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, Oct. 14, 2022, in the Effingham Chapel of Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral. Pastors Julie Stanley Mack and Tim Brown officiated.
Interment: Springfield Cemetery Annex
