Mr. George "Blue" Allison
Alexander, 92, o f
Royston, passed away on
Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2022, at
his son's home.
Mr. Alexander was
born on July 22, 1930, in
Reynolds, son of the l ate
William M arvin Alexander
and the late Ruby Lee
Allen Alexander. He was
a truck driver h aving
worked w ith Complete
Auto Transit for 42 years.
He w as a m ember of
Riverside Baptist Church
and a former member of
Truck Stop Ministry.
In a ddition to his p arents,
he was preceded in
death by h is wife, Bette
Anne R oach Alexander,
and sons, Charles Allison
Alexander and John Murray
Alexander.
Survivors include his
son and daughter-in-law,
Shane and Stacie Alexander
of Royston; grandchildren,
Jenna Villeco, Hope
Brooks, Sara Bailey, Elise
Alexander, Chloe Alexander,
J ackson A lexander,
Charles Alexander and
Joanna A lexander; and
three great-grandchildren.
He was the last surviving
member of his immediate
family.
Funeral services f or
Mr. Alexander were held
at R iverside B aptist
Church o n Thursday,
Dec. 15, 2022, w ith Rev.
Paul Jameson, Rev. Roger
Elrod and Rev. G lenn
Lyles officiating. Interment
f ollowed in t he
church cemetery.
