Michael G. McIntyre, 69, of Elkhart, passed away Sept. 13, 2021, at the Raclin House in Mishawaka.
He was born July 30, 1952, in South Bend to Edgar and Joella (Russell) McIntyre.
On Aug. 3, 1991, he married Lola Baker; she survives along with five children, Kristopher (Nicole) McIntyre, Justin (Sabrina Kepler) McIntyre, Jennifer, Stacy and Shawna. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Tyler, Teanna, Ariana, Brian, Jaheim and Anthony; and one brother, Kevin McIntyre.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Douglas, a sister, Terry Kelsey, and maternal grandparents, Harold and Mary Russell.
Michael work for over 20 years at Gunite Corp. He enjoyed doing paint by numbers, playing video games and collecting coins. He will be remembered as being a loving, caring and gentle man.
Per his wishes, cremation will take place and a celebration of life service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24, at Radiant Life Church.
Memorial contributions may be given to Radiant Life Church.
Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
