JUNE COPEN Obituary
June was born March 18, 1926 to Elise K. Poulsen and Clifford M. Bell in McGill, Nevada.
She had been a life long resident of Nevada and had lived in Elko for 47 years.
June was an active member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served faithfully in many callings in the church. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed a variety of handiwork.
June was sealed to Floyd M. Copen in the Salt Lake LDS Temple in 1948. They had been married 54 years when Floyd died in 2002.
She is survived by her four children; Peggy Carpenter, Donald (Pauline) Copen, Bonnie (Paul) Anderson and Bruce (Nila) Copen. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held September 7, 2010 at 11 AM with a viewing prior to the funeral, from 9:30 AM-11:00 AM. Services will be held at the LDS Church at 3001 N. 5th Street, Elko, Nevada under the direction of Bishop Rory Bates. Internment will be in Burns Memorial Garden.
