Alejandro (Cano) Ramon Fernandez Jr.

El Paso - Alejandro (Cano) Ramon Fernandez Jr, 69, of El Paso, TX was called to heaven on February 18, 2021.

Alejandro was born August 20, 1951 to Alejandro and Bertha Fernandez. He attended Burgess High School and proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. After his service in the Navy, he continued his service with Ft. Bliss for thirty plus years and was extremely proud to be part of the Army's Patriot Missile Program.

Alejandro was very devoted to the Lord and was extremely active within the church community and an active ACTS brother. He also enjoyed his job where he made many friends and found his calling where he offered spiritual advice to those in need. He was known as the "Preacher Man" at work and was loved by many there. He enjoyed talking to people and making new friends anywhere and everywhere he went. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed going to the casino or traveling with his Fiancée (Suky). Alejandro will always be remembered as a man who adored his family because they came first especially his Granddaughters. He was compassionate, giving, selfless and saw the good in everyone and let's not forget a die-hard Raiders fan who was open to a good debate.

Alejandro is survived by his son Alejandro R. Fernandez III; his daughter Lisa Fernandez Acosta and her husband Jesus Acosta; Granddaughters Mia A. Fernandez and Kayla R. Acosta; grandson Isiah J. Acosta; and great-grandchildren; his siblings Norma M. Fernandez, Oscar Fernandez and Lupe Borbon; fiancée Socorro (Suky) Nava and many nieces and nephews.
