El Paso - Angela Aguirre Prochnow, 97, born August 2, 1923 in El Paso, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 19, 2020. She was a devout Catholic who prayed without ceasing.

Psalm 130:5-6

"I wait for the Lord, my soul does wait,

And in His word do I hope.

My soul waits for the Lord."

She was predeceased by her husband Harold Prochnow, Sr.her mother Nepomucena Aguirre, her sisters Lucia Gilchrist , Condrada Ortega and brother, Carlos Aguirre, grandson Zachary Prochnow, nephew Gus Ortega and niece Judy Favela.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jim Prochnow,Jr. (Kathy), Terry Gutierrez (Arturo), Gerard Prochnow (Patsy), Tony Prochnow (Mary) her grandchildren, Eric Gutierrez (Erika), Erin Cettie (Evan), David Gutierrez (Naomi ), Paul Gutierrez , Sarah Johnson (Korben), Allison Prochnow ( Matt Encinia ), Noel Adams (Daniel), Faith Prochnow, Robby Prochnow (Alyssa), Tristan Prochnow and Jason Prochnow and 5 great grandchildren: Ella, Tyler, Troy, Jamison, Everett.

We wish to thank with grateful hearts Salma, Miriam, Araceli, Mari & Lulu for their loving care of Angie in the last 4 years of her life.

Private services have already been held but if you wish to remember Angie please give to St. Vincent de Paul in her name.






Angela Aguirre Prochnow, de 97 años, nacida el 2 de agosto de 1923 en El Paso, Texas, partió a estar con su Señor y Salvador el 19 de septiembre del 2020. Era una católica devota que oraba sin cesar. Salmo 130: 5-6 ""Yo espero en el Señor, mi alma espera, y en su palabra espero. Mi alma espera en el Señor"". Fue antecedida en muerte por su esposo Harold Prochnow, su madre Nepomucena Aguirre, sus hermanas Lucia Gilchrist, Condrada Ortega y su hermano Carlos Aguirre, su nieto Zachary Prochnow, su sobrino Gus Ortega y su sobrina Judy Favela. Para apreciar su memoria le quedan sus hijos Jim Prochnow Jr. (Kathy), Terry Gutiérrez (Arturo), Gerard Prochnow (Patsy), Tony Prochnow (Mary), sus nietos: Eric Gutiérrez (Erika), Erin Cettie (Evan), David Gutiérrez (Naomi), Paul Gutiérrez, Sarah Johnson (Korben), Allison Prochnow (Matt Encinia), Noel Adams (Daniel), Faith Prochnow, Robby Prochnow (Alyssa), Tristan Prochnow y Jason Prochnow y sus cinco bisnietos: Ella, Tyler, Troy, Jamison y Everett. Agradecemos de corazón a Salma, Miriam, Araceli, Mari y Lulu por el amoroso cuidado de Angie en los últimos cuatro años de su vida.
