Baudelio Sanchez Obituary

Baudelio Sanchez

El Paso - Our beloved father, Baudelio Sanchez, lost his battle with the virus on Monday, November 9, 2020 with his family by his side. He is preceded in death by his wife, Alicia Sanchez.

Our father was born in Needles, CA on August 3, 1931 and was a life-long resident of El Paso, TX. He is survived by his children, Rosa Dominguez (Tony), Esteban, Soledad, Carmen Herrera (Edward), Bertha Sifuentes (Hector), Rogelio (Pat) and adopted daughter/granddaughter Mickey (Freddy). He also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and his beloved boxer, Beba.

Our father loved his sports. He was a big fan of Las Chivas, the NY Yankees, the Dallas Cowboys and a big fan of Stephen Curry.

Our 89-year old dad was a strong, healthy and active man until the virus took him from our lives. The memorial will be on July 30 from 4 to 7 PM, with a rosary at 6:00 PM at Perches Funeral Home, 7580 Alameda.

Baudelio was the epitome of a true family man, husband, and father. The decency and respect he showed towards his wife, children, and grandchildren only exemplified how unconditionally he loved all of them. He loved his baseball players as well and treated them like his own sons. I loved Friday nights when we would get together at the Sanchez’s home. I will always remember Licha wanting to dance to “In the Mood” with Baudelio, and he would always oblige!! Such a beautiful sight!! We have lost a humble, quiet, wise man. But those of us who lived on Aspen Road will always have our priceless memories of Baudelio. May our esteemed neighbor Rest in Eternal Peace. Our sincere condolences to the Sanchez Family, our Aspen neighbors who also became our family.
