BEVERLY RODRIGUEZ Obituary

Beverly Bauer Rodriguez passed away on October 22, 2014. She was born on January 24, 1945 to William L. and Virginia S. Bauer. She grew up in North Carolina and graduated from Meredith College in Raleigh, NC. Her first career was teaching special education and she obtained a master's degree in educational psychology and guidance and ultimately became a Certified Diagnostician. Her second career was real estate. Beverly became a real estate broker and established Benchmark Real Estate Investments, as one of the largest property management companies in El Paso. Beverly traveled the world and refused to let cancer define her despite having to battle it for the past 15 years. Beverly just couldn't stop moving. The busier she was the happier she was. Beverly was an inspiration to all who knew her and she was an example of courage in the face of adversity. Beverly never met a stranger. She loved meeting people and getting to know them. One of her life goals was to make as many people as possible as happy and content as she was. Beverly is survived by her husband, Roque Mario Marchese, her brother, Edward S. Bauer and wife Michele, nieces Leslie D. Bauer and Lauri Anne Westmoreland and a great nephew and niece, Chase Westmoreland and Ruby Raye Westmoreland. She was predeceased by her parents. Beverly absolutely loved the life she lived and she will be missed greatly by her family and friends. Visitation will be on Friday, October 24, 2014 from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm with Rosary at 2:30 pm. Funeral Service at 3:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Martin East. In lieu of flowers please make donations to The Humane Society of El Paso, 4991 Fred Wilson, El Paso, Texas 79906, or the charity of your choice. My husband and I got sent to Fort Bliss in 2011. We rented a little condo through benchmark and she treated us like family from the beginning. She told us about traveling to Argentina and being from North Carolina. She told us where to go and what to do for fun. She'd tell us New Mexico was El Paso's best secret. She was a wonderful woman and I feel very fortunate to have net her.

Mario, we are so sorry about Beverly. Her smile lit up the room. We had some good laughs with her about the rental on Amy Sue and our crazy relatives. She will be greatly missed. Our deepest sympathy.

Beverly you were one in a million. Even if I didn't see you often, it was easy to take up where we left off. I miss the gin games and the golf, and the laughs. Mario I'm so sorry. We all love her. Mary Helen Johnson and Debbie Turner, Thatcher, AZ

Every time I saw Beverly she was always friendly and upbeat. We need more Beverlys in the world, but I'm sure she's still spreading all that positive around from up above.

Beverly was our dearest, closest friend for nearly 35 years. She served as our maid of honor 31 yrs ago--seems like yesterday. Beverly made a significant difference in a young Ida's life early as a Freshman @ UTEP, serving as a mentor. She helped impart thousands of positive life lessons on to Ida. Mario, Ida and I shared many, man wonderful times together including this include pix of Mario and Beverly having dinner with us here in Atlanta just four months ago. We miss Beverly and love her dearly. We also know there was not other husband that could have loved her more and cared for her more than Mario--Bravo Mario!

Our condolences to Beverly's family. WE remember her when she rented us our first apt/duplex on Springwood Dr. Then I got into real estate and saw her again. She was an extremely positive person and full of life. She will be missed. Rest in peace.
