FRANK BUTLER Obituary

Col. Frank Lawrence Butler, USA (Ret), born November 1, 1919, passed away on October 21, 2013 at 93. A 33 year veteran with service in WWII, Korea, Dominican Republic and Vietnam. He retired as Provost Marshall of Ft. Bliss in 1973. He is preceded in death by his brother Edward and first wife Jayne, he leaves his son Frank Lawrence Jr. (Denise), daughter Bonnie R. Linden (David), Michael D. Thomas CDR USN (Ret), Mark D. Thomas M.D. Survived by his wife of 34 years Jo Margaret Butler. Thank you to Scott Heri, RN for his loving care. Also to Dr. De Luca, Dr. Hazboun, and Dr. Chavez. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home West. Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM at First Presbyterian Church, 1340 Murchison. Services entrusted to Martin Funeral Home West, 128 N. Col. Butler,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your years of dedicated service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army-especially during WW II, the Korean and Vietnam Wars as well as in the Dominican Republic. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
