My cousin Pogie was a cool guy. He had a great laugh and a great smile. I remember looking up to him when I was small. He Liked to sing and dance. He had some great moves. He served our country, and I am very proud of him. I'm sorry that for Terry's and Steven's loss. I remember Terry and Pogie; they always seemed to have a lot of fun together. I know that this is a very difficult time for Melissa and Cindy and their families as well. This i a difficult time for all of the cousins, Pogie was the eldest. He will be missed. Until we meet again.

Uncle Jesse (Pogie) was a great man. I'm honored to be named after him. He had very strong convictions, yet loved and respected all. I learned so much from him. I thank God for every moment I got to spend with him.
Aunt Terry and Steven, I love you both so much. I'm so sorry for your loss. My heart is with you both. Take comfort in knowing that he is with Jesus now.
I love you Tio. Give Grandma a big hug and kiss for me.

Jesse was a respected, loving friend to all, especially to my brother George. And my boys fondly remember enjoyable times with Jesse when they were growing up in El Paso. Thanks for those great memories. You will be missed by many. I send my deepest sympathy to Terry and Steven. God grant you peace and consolation. Much love, Bonnie Sisk and family (Dallas, TX)

Terry, I'm sorry to hear that Jesse ( Boogie) passed. I don't recall when I last saw y'all but reading the comments from others, they describe Boogie just as I remember him. I hope that he didn't suffer as there's too much suffering in today's society. May the good Lord bless you and your family during a most difficult time. Next time I'm in El Paso, I'll pay my condolences in person. Take care Terry.

I'm so sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Jesse was all smiles and cracking funny jokes at work always. He was a caring and supportive boss.
We all mourn. We dont have words to express or say that we understand specifically how you feel. May God give you strength and peace in these trying moments. We will keep you in our prayers in hopes that they will help a little.

There was never a man with a more caring heart and infectious smile. When I think of El Paso, I think of Jesse Gutierrez.
He was a joy to work with and always kept our spirits up when we were working around the clock on a project. I am blessed that I could call him a friend. He is sorely missed.

Jesse was one of the kindest and most generous men I have known. I had the privilege of working with him over the past ten years. He had an infectious smile and witty sense of humor. He was a big UTEP fan and supported youth athletic teams to include The Yellow Jackets football team and the El Paso Jayhawks Basketball team. I will miss you my friend. May the Lord Bless you and keep you.

Jesse was a very kind and gentle individual. I have known him for about 44 yrs. I last saw him and his wife, Terry, in 2018 when they came to Austin for a conference. It was so thoughtful of them to invite my daughter and I to join them. I will never forget the good times we use to have. You will never be forgotten and may you rest in peace .
