John Cherry Obituary
John Walter Cherry passed into Eternity on January 23, 2020 in Alamogordo, New Mexico at the age of 91.
He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Cherry and Kendal Cherry Beasley, along with his long-time companion Patricia Coburn, three grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
John was born in Winnsboro, Texas and is a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from a long career with Mountain Bell in El Paso.
A service is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 1 at New Heart Cowboy Church in Alamogordo. All are welcome to attend and celebrate John's life. Condolences may be sent to Kimberly Cherry, 8232 E. Northland Dr., Scottsdale, AZ 85251, or to Pat Coburn, 3003 15th St., Alamogordo, NM 88310. Flowers or memorial donations can be sent to the church.
John Walter Cherry falleció hacia la eternidad el 23 de enero del 2020 en Alamogordo, Nuevo México a la edad de 91 años. Le sobreviven sus hijas, Kimberly Cherry y Kendal Cherry Beasley, junto con su compañera por mucho tiempo, Patricia Coburn, sus tres nietos y sus dos bisnietos. John nació en Winnsboro, Texas y es veterano del Ejército de Estados Unidos. Se retiró tras una larga carrera en Mountain Bell en El Paso. John and I worked at Mountain Bell and were also
neighbors in Loma Terrace, so we saw each other
daily.
He was a very nice and gentle man. I enjoyed his friendship. He will be missed. My best to his family.

Having the privilege of working with John, at Southwestern Bell, I will always remember him for his strong character. He was always willing to help his fellow employees or anyone in need. His family and friends, without a doubt, will miss him greatly.
