Rodolfo Amaya Obituary
El Paso - Rodolfo "Rudy" Amaya Jr., born March 20, 1960, passed away suddenly on June 14, 2021. Rudy was born in, and was a lifelong resident of El Paso and a proud graduate of Bowie High School. Rudy worked many years for Hoy Fox.
He was one of five children born to the late Rodolfo Sr. and Rosa Amaya.
Rudy is survived by his wife, Maria; daughters, Kristina and Clarissa; grandchildren, Isaiah, Elijah, Ariana; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Rudy will always be remembered by his brothers Max, Alfredo, Carlos, and sister Rosa as a loving brother that was always generous with his time and could always be counted on to lend a hand or just hang out.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2021, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a rosary starting at 6:00 PM at Mt. Carmel Funeral Home, 1755 N. Zaragosa 79936. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, June 18, 2021, at 10:00 AM at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1700 George Dieter 79936, followed by graveside service at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S. Zaragosa 79907.
Rodolfo ""Rudy"" Amaya Jr., nacido el 20 de marzo de 1960, falleció repentinamente el 14 de junio del 2021. Rudy nació en El Paso y fue un residente vitalicio de El Paso y un orgulloso graduado de Bowie High School. Rudy trabajó muchos años para Hoy Fox. Fue uno de los cinco hijos nacidos de los ya difuntos Rodolfo Sr. y Rosa Amaya. A Rudy le sobrevive su esposa María; sus hijas Kristina y Clarissa; sus nietos: Isaiah, Elijah y Ariana y numerosos sobrinos y sobrinas. Rudy siempre será recordado por sus hermanos Max, Alfredo, Carlos y su hermana Rosa como un hermano cariñoso que siempre fue generoso con su tiempo y siempre se podía contar con él para echar una mano o simplemente pasar el rato. El velorio se llevará a cabo el jueves 17 de junio del 2021 de 4:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m. con el rosario a partir de las 6:00 p.m. en Mt. Carmel Funeral Home, en el 1755 N. Zaragosa 79936. La misa fúnebre se celebrará el viernes 18 de junio del 2021 a las 10:00 a.m. en la iglesia católica St. Stephen, ubicada en el 1700 George Dieter 79936. Se proseguirá con el servicio de entierro en el cementerio de Mount Carmel, en el 401 S. Zaragosa 79907.
