Soledad Gomez Obituary


Our beloved mother passed away at home surrounded by her family on March 14, 2008. Soledad M. Gomez (78) born on September 14, 1929 in Eagle Pass, Texas. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She has gone to her husband, our beloved father, Santiago to continue looking after us all. She worked for Farah as a seamstress for 20 years. She is survived by son: Santiago Jr, and Rafael. Daughters: Gloria Ofelia Gomez-Sanchez, Rosa Maria Martinez, Norma Soledad Rodriguez, Sylvia Guadalupe Gomez-Huerrta. 22 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Sisters: Cuca, Susana, and Sara. Brother: Francisco. Visitation will be Monday, March 17, 2008 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Crestview Funeral Home. Vigil Service will be Monday at Crestview Chapel. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at St. Pius X with time pending. Pallbearers: Santiago Gomez Jr., Keith Menchey, Andrew Perez, George Rodriguez Sr., George Rodriguez Jr., Dennis Martinez. Honorary Pallbearers: Rafael Gomez, Arturo Gomez, Viguel Martinez, Tony Rodriguez, Tomas Sanchez, Mando Huerrta. Jr. Pallbearers: Demitri Huerrta and Carlos Lopez. Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. DIRECTED BY CRESTVIEW FUNERAL HOME. 1462 N. ZARAGOZA 856-1400
