STELLA GUEVARA

GUEVARA On Friday, June 8, 2012, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ opened his arms and the gates of heaven to welcome his daughter, Stella Aragon Guevara, into his Kingdom. One of 13 children, Stella, was born on June 17, 1945 in Willard, NM. She was preceded in death by her husband Clovis R. Guevara whom she married in 1962. Also, preceding her in death were her parents, Granfe and Amalia Aragon, a brother John Aragon and sister Cora Aragon Leaton. She is survived by her children: Susie Sanchez (Ruben), Rose Rene Ortega (Rene), Teri Guevara, Clovis Guevara Jr. (Cecy), Christopher Guevara (Mickey), Her Grand Children : Rocky (Rebecca), Anthony (Sheralyn), Vanessa (Jacob), Valarie, Jordan, Amanda (Sergio), Brandon, Marcus (Diane) Deserae, Ariel, Mariah, Allyah, Davian, Josiah. She is also survived by her great grand children: Joseph, Isaiah, Aiden, Journey, Jovi, Sebastian, Audrina, Elizabeth, Marcus John Paul, Her Brothers and sisters, Raymond (Alice), Robert (Esther), Efrem, Frank ( Bobby), Joe (Rice) Aragon, Isabel Aguilar(Vincent), Rita Torres, Betty Jansen, Virgie Nejeres (Andrew) and Susie Sanchez (Ruben). Also left to cherish her memory are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Stella attended Catholic School and she and her husband were devoting Catholics. They raised their children to put God first and to surround themselves by Christ. Stella was a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church for more than 30 years, a member of the Rosary Alter Society and retired from Albertson's Supermarket. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 13, 2012 from 5:00 - 9:00 PM with The Rosary being recited at 7:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Mass at 9:00 AM Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
