Penelope Winsor Obituary

Penelope L. Winsor (Cochran) of Sun City, AZ formerly of Grand Rapids & Babbitt Mn passed away on 30 Oct 2024 due to natural causes. Penny was born 5 May 1941 to Stanford and Rose Cochran (Harris) in Minneapolis, Mn.
Penny graduated from Grand Rapids High School and then went on to obtain her teaching degrees. Penny spent a majority of her teaching career in Babbitt where she retired after 35 years of teaching elementary school. Penny enjoyed golfing, traveling, and snowmobiling.
Penny is survived by her daughters: Miranda (Derek) Hotz of Hanford Ca., Jodie (Darin) Pierson of Hibbing, Mn, Donna Winsor of Cape Coral, Fl, son, Dennis (Ale) Winsor of Peyton, Co, brother, Micheal Cochran of Grand Rapids Mn, 11 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Penny is preceded in death by her parents Stanford and Rose Cochran and her husband Duane Winsor.
Penny will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Funeral: Per Penny's request, there will be no services. She only wanted a "party."
Penny's Celebration of Life will be on 28 June 2025 from 1-4pm in Hibbing Mn at 4782 1st Ave, Hibbing Mn 55746. RSVPs are welcomed but not required. Please go to https://Celebratepennyslife.rsvpify.com
Burial: At sea off the coast of San Diego, CA.
