Steve Wulfert Obituary
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, May 4, at Antioch Christian Church, Leslie, with a funeral service immediately following at the church.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
He is survived by one brother, Lester Wulfert and wife Linda, Columbia, Illinois, and many other relatives and friends.
The Wulfert family is being served by Oltmann Funeral Home, Union.

Steve was a grade school through high school friend. I have great memories of what a laid back, friendly, warm, kind person he was. At our MRH High School Class of 1970 after graduation party, Steve peacefully intervened and prevented two guys from fighting. Steve and I were out of touch most years after high school, though when I thought of him, it was with great fondness--and so it will be. The world needs more people like Steve in it. My condolences to all who knew and loved him.

I had take some time to leave kind words. Learning of you passing saddened me.
Memorable times spent in Franklin Cnty. You were one of the most genuine, easy going souls I´ve ever known. I´ll cherish your kindness.
You once stated that Dylan salved your soul during times of trouble, he did the same for me.
My regret is that our friendship wasn´t more everlasting. I´ll live in kind with the memories, pauses and distance. `Ol Blue, Leslie and long winding gravel drives.
By the grace of thou we´ll meet again. Say hello to my brother. He´d enjoy the hang. Much love...
