Dear Peggy:
Betty and I were so sorry to learn of John's death and our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.
I will always be grateful to you and John for inviting me to dinner many, many times when we were in the Army together in Kaiserslautern, Germany in 1956-1957 and we had a lot of happy times together. As always, sometimes memories are all that we have left.
God Bless You.
All My Love,
Lonnie

Peggy; I have a heavy heart today after reading the ledger. I'm so sorry to hear about John. I drove and rode many miles with him and he was always cheerful, smiling and a real joy to be around. I served with him on my last assignment in the army at DES. He was a real brother to me.

We were so sorry to learn of John's passing. It was a surprise as we had not been in touch lately. He was a great husband, father, and a great soldier. He loved the Army and his country. I will always have a special place in my heart for John,my Sergeant Major at the Test Acitity. God bless you and the family during this sad time.

Mr. Baker-
I sang in your Girl's Chorus, Concert Choir, and Encores your very first years at EHS (1985-1988). I remember quite fondly singing every year at Fort Rucker for your dad, especially you singing "God Bless the USA" and the pride splashed across your father's face. My heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family. "Peaches Hunt"
