PRESTON LOTT

Preston Lott Mr. Preston Lott of Brundidge, AL (New Hope Community) passed away Wednesday April 21, 2010 at the family residence. He was 93. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 24, 2010 at New Hope Baptist Church with Reverend J.C. Turner and Reverend Mack King officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Enterprise directing. The body will be placed into the church one hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends at Sorrells Funeral Home on Friday, April 23 from 6 until 8 pm. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to New Hope Cemetery, Inc., 5711 County Road 114, Brundidge, AL 36010 or to Wiregrass Hospice, PO Drawer 2127, Dothan, AL 36302. Mr. Lott was born June 28, 1916 in Coffee County to the late Harvey Lincoln and Ethel Shiver Lott. He was a member of the Dixie Flywheeler Association as well as a retired farmer. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 70 years, Dessie Ree Whittenton Lott.
