I first met Al at Hillsdale GC in Mississippi. I was on the first tee about to tee off, saw this guy and said to myself, now here is somebody i can beat. Invited him to join me. After 4 pars in 4 holes by Al, i said," Hay man , are you a pro".
We became Friends after that round of Golf . I have many great memories with Al on and off the course. It was a shock to hear of his passing. He will be missed greatly.

I met Al at J.C. Martin G.C.. He made junior golf fun and had a positive impact on my life. Learning how to play golf with Al Keller was always interesting and I have lots of great/ funny memories because of him. It wasnt uncommon when the juniors would intentionally provoke Al and he would come flying out of the clubhouse and chase us up the first fairway. He could move pretty fast for a big guy. Al had a big heart and was a pleasure to be around. I am very sadden by his passing and will also remember the great influence he had on me & others. He was a great individual.

I played golf at J.C. Martin when Al was the pro there. He always made us practice, instead of playing video games in the clubhouse. He helped us all become better golfers.

Keller family, i would like to express my deepest sympathy on the loss of Albert. I visited him about a month ago, and he gave me some of his baseball memorabilia. He had lost his interest in baseball, and I figured something was seriously wrong with him, even though he wouldn't talk about it. He will always be remembered by me for that mischievious twinkle in his eyes, and a nutty sense of humor. I hope the Phillies win every game in heaven

Al and I were neighbors fifty years ago, thanks to our parents living a block apart. He was a great kid. I'm glad to know he pursued his dreams and became a famous golf pro.

Tom, Mary, and Annie,
Just a quick note to express my deepest sympathy on Al's passing. I have some very fond memories of my days in junior high and I know that Tom and I drove Albert nuts on Trask Ave, but he always had to laugh at our antics. He was a good guy.... and I'm sorry for your loss. God Bless!

Mary, Tommy and Annie,
I was saddened by the news of Albert's passing. So many memories came to mind. It was because of him that Jerry learned to love the game of golf. That introduction changed our lives. We had so many laughs and good times at the house on Trask Avenue.
I know that Jerry was there to greet him and had already set up a tee time for him.
I'm sorry that I can't be there, but know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

On the East Side, Al was the closest thing to Santa Claus because he would distribute toys to a lot of families. He was a big guy with a big heart and a good friend to many.
