Frieda Collins Obituary
Frieda (Catalino) Perkowski Collins, age 69, of Millcreek Twp., passed away at her residence, Sunday, July 26, 2015. Born in Erie, June 2, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Angeline (Izzi) Catalino.
She worked at Olan Mills Studio and assisted the director at Erie Business Center. She loved her home and friends, cooking and writing poetry. Her dog, Molly, was her sweetheart.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Lombardo and Judy Pollitt and a grandson, Eric.
She is survived by her husband, Terry Collins; her son, Charles Perkowski; three brothers, Gary Catalino, wife, Shirley, Deacon Frank Lombardo, and John Catalino, wife, Patty; two grandchildren, Alyssa and Jordan. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Private arrangements are under the direction of Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 W. 38th St. at Greengarden Blvd.
Memorials are suggested to the American Lung Association, 3524 W. 26th St., Erie, PA 16506.

Terry, I'm so sorry to hear about Frieda what a wonderful person to be around. I will always remember coming over the house and she would go out of her way to feed you, and what a great cook she was. I always enjoyed visiting you guys having coffee, laughing, watching favorite shows on t.v., computer shopping and loving up Molly. She was crazy about Molly which you couldn't blame her for that, what a sweet dog. I will never forget her, she always made everyone feel so welcome. Again, i'm very sorry for your loss cause we will miss her badly. Please if you need anything don't hesitate to call. Love and Miss her.

I loved Frieda as if she were part of my family.She was a wonderful,kind and loving lady. God has an angel with him. I was very blessed by my friendship with her,and i will never forget her,one day we will meet again. My prayers goes out to all the family.She was an inspiration to all who knew her. I will miss her, so much. With much love to her and her family with respect. Thank you Lord for allowing me to know her.

Oh Terry and family, so sorry for this news. I know she is no longer suffering but I will miss Frieda immensely. She made me laugh, she shared great recipes and loved her cooking!
